March 30th 2007: the final conference in the framework of the Project "RELIGION AND EDUCATION: enhancing Christian-Muslim understanding in Bulgaria" will be carried out.

Expect in mid-February the finalizing event of the project "Religion and Education: Enhancing Christian-Muslim Understanding in Bulgaria."
On October 20th-22nd 2006 the Center for Intercultural Studies and Partnership in cooperation with the Centre for European Policy Studies, Brussels and with the support of the Open Society Institute – Budapest, organized an International Conference "Islam and Politics in a Wider Europe" within the research project “Islam, the Balkans and the European Neighbourhood Project” of Dr. Simeon Evstatiev - Program Director of the Center.

The promotional conference within the CISP's project "Religion and Education: Enhancing Chrsitina-Muslim Understanding in Bulgaria" was held in Sofia on April 18, 2005 and it was keynoted by Prof. Dr. J. Paul Martin, Director of the Center for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University, New York. . More information...
